Dates are the day the record was filed with the SEC or the day the FDIC closed the bank. Restructurings (Item 2.05) and listing notices (Item 3.01) are on the wire, not this board: neither means a company is closing. A bankruptcy filing is not a closure either; many Chapter 11 companies keep operating. Read the field guide.

Liquidation Market · in preview

Closing or clearing stock? Sell it straight to the buyer.

A separate venue on this site where businesses list their own closeout stock and equipment, and buyers pay them directly. Plans from $1.95/month (free during preview); buyers pay no fees. Market sellers are independent: a listing may not claim its goods come from a company on this wire, and lots never appear on filing or company pages.

How to read a row

One entry, taken apart

A real entry from the wire, with what each part means.

Oct 26, 2026 Getty Images Holdings, Inc. · GETY Bankruptcy SEC filing
  1. Filed. The day the record reached EDGAR (or the FDIC closing date). The event itself can be a few days earlier: Oct 23, 2026 here.
  2. Who. The company as it is registered with the SEC, with its business address in Washington (Services).
  3. What it reported. A bankruptcy case or a receivership has started for the company or one of its main subsidiaries: the company itself reports it on Form 8-K Item 1.03.
  4. The record. The link goes to the filing on sec.gov (or the bank on fdic.gov). Liquidator.news never copies the document: the record is the authority.

What Liquidator.news is not

  • Not a newspaper. No reporters, no stories, no rumours: only entries from public records, each linked to its source.
  • Not an auctioneer or liquidator. It owns, appraises and holds nothing; Market sellers list their own goods. It is not a licensed auctioneer or insolvency practitioner.
  • Not official. Not connected with the SEC, the FDIC, any exchange or court. The source record is the authority.
  • Not advice. Not legal, credit or investment advice. A bankruptcy filing, a restructuring or a listing notice is not a closure.
